Original music by José Beviá alongside selected jazz standards. José Beviá Trio explores the intersection of hard bop, modal jazz, Latin jazz, and free improvisation with the structural and textural elements of late 20th- and
21st-century contemporary classical music. This project seeks to contribute a distinct and original voice to the evolving sound of contemporary musical creation and to expand the legacies of these musical traditions. The trio brings
together three highly accomplished musicians whose individual careers span international performance, recording, composition and collaboration with leading figures in contemporary jazz.
